Stay Social

posted in: Blog

Social Media has recently become the vehicle in which to share news, share experiences, share messages of support and bring communities together. We have also seen business pages that previously were buzzing with activity, now grinding to a halt. Unless you have taken the decision to completely close your business for good – don’t neglect your page!

You most likely would have spent a long while growing your page and interacting with the people on it – those people are still there and even if you have temporarily closed or perhaps you are adapting your business to offer something different – use your page to let your followers know.

If you are taking some time out, why not use this opportunity to let those that are interested in your page find out more about you and if you have one – your team?

Stay with social media.

We’ve said before that people like to know who they are doing business with, whether its now or in the future – if they feel like they know a bit about you, they feel that they can trust you. Share your story with them, people are being incredibly supportive of each other at the moment, so chances are, they are also going to want to support you.

Some facts:

  • People are at home – browsing Social Media more than ever before
  • Sadly some businesses have been unable to continue, this means there is decreased competition
  • There is currently less recorded spend on Facebook ads – if you are able to, now is the time to make the most of them

If you stop activity on your page and you try to get it back up and running in the future, it’s going to be really difficult to get seen and get that engagement going again. Plus, if you keep your posts going now, when the time comes when your business is open again – those people are going to remember you.
